As part of our comprehensive process, we often get people to get a sensitivity test done, so we can build a diet that is consisting of optimal foods. The best way you can tell if a food sensitivity is impacting on your weight is by weighing yourself daily each evening for a few days. If your weight changes by a kilogram or more in a day, you know you have a food sensitivity. Only by being on top of your allergies and sensitivities can you truly be successful in your weight loss plans.
Once we have decided on the best program for you, we also book in a series of regular weigh-ins. Our bioimpedance scales measure weight, fat percentage, muscle mass and hydration. By checking your readings at each visit, we can ensure that all weight loss is appropriate fat loss and not muscle breakdown or water loss. It has also been shown that those who have regular weigh-ins or meetings are more successful in their weight loss and tend to be more successful in keeping weight off. Weigh-in visits are usually fully covered by private health funds.
